Are you looking for mental health therapy in the D.C. area?
About Me

Hi! I’m Drew. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and I’ve been helping clients achieve their mental health goals for nearly a decade. After obtaining my MSW, I worked for several years in family reunification and preservation, providing in-home support to families and residential care professionals working through traumatic events, communication gaps, and, often, legally-mandated therapy. The work was very rewarding, but my goal has always been to build my own practice and see my own clients.
In 2023, I obtained my LCSW and started my practice. I obtained my Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) certification shortly thereafter, and have specialized in working with neurodivergent clients (on the ADHD and/or ASD spectrum) ever since.
I work with both neuro-typical and neurodivergent clients; my passion for neurodiversity stems from a deep desire for people of all brain shapes and sizes to feel a sense of purpose, belonging, and self-love. We know so much more about neurodivergence than even a decade ago, but with so much information (and misinformation) at our fingertips, it’s normal to feel overwhelmed or confused. I’ll help you work through those feelings by asking questions, encouraging honesty and openness, and using my background to help you understand yourself and how to achieve your goals.
My wife and I recently relocated to the DMV from Muscle Shoals, Alabama. We have two giant fur children - Amo (a St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix) and Luna (just a Great Pyrenees). My wife is currently working on her MFA in Classical Acting through Shakespeare Theatre Company/GWU. We’re both passionate about theatre, playing Pokémon and Dungeons & Dragons, learning about/drinking wine, and all things fantasy/adventure. In my spare time, you can normally find me doing one of those activities, or playing drums; I am a studio musician and was a member of several bands during my years in Muscle Shoals.
